Retired From McKee Baking Company After 22 Years

Charlotte Nell Scholtz, 81 of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.  

She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and was retired from McKee Baking Company after 22 years of service.  

Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Steve) Pope of Harrison, Tn.; brother, Henry Thompson of East Ridge; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Charles) Plott and Michael (Melanie) Pope; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 1, at Greenwood Cemetery with Brother Richard Mansfield officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.

The family would like to thank the Nurses, CNAs and Staff of Health Center at Standifer Place for their loving care and concern.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite #22, Chattanooga, Tn. 27421 or to the American Cancer Society 6221 Shallowford Road Suite 102, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
