Sunday, the entire day will focus on the need to strengthen and encourage families at Middle Valley Church of God, 1703 Thrasher Pk. in Hixson. Pastor Mitch McClure said, 'Our families must know that God loves them and is there for them always. They must know that the church is a place that desires to make the family system stronger. On Sunday we will lift up the family unit for the purpose of making it stronger.'
Reverend Paul Ellis will be the guest speaker in the 10:30 a.m.
service. Reverend Ellis ministers at the Word of Life Worship Center in La Mesa, Ca. A meal will be served in the Family Life Center at the conclusion of the service. All are invited to participate.
Each Wednesday at 7 p.m. classes are made available for all age groupings. Currently, Pastor Mitch McClure is leading a Bible study on the life of David. The study is based partially on 'A Man After God's Own Heart' by R. T. Kendall.
The community is invited to participate in all services of Middle Valley Church of God.
