Pair In Stolen Florida Car Arrested In Bradley County After Pursuit

Two people are in custody and a vehicle reported stolen out of the state of Florida has been recovered after a pursuit on Friday evening, according to Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson.

Deputies were able to wedge the stolen car with the individuals inside between two Bradley County Patrol units in the parking lot of the Whirlpool Plant on Benton Pike.

The pursuit traveled through the 20th Street and Tasso Lane area.  Once stopped, officers conducted an inventory of items in the vehicle that included a loaded firearm and open containers of alcohol. 

Sheriff Watson commended BCSO for an outstanding capture, and thanks to Cleveland Police and Tennessee Highway Patrol for their assistance.

The two people in the stolen car were booked into the Bradley County Jail. 

The investigation continues into the stolen vehicle with Florida officials.
