Cathy Darlene Doran, 52, of Chatsworth, Georgia, died on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence.
Cathy was born July 20, 1962 in Covington, Georgia to the late K.C. and Doris Evelyn Payne Holmes; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Roger Doran; brothers, Billy Holmes and Randy Holmes; and sister, Teresa Carroll.
She was a member of the Rock of Ages Church of Faith in Dalton.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Frady; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Michelle and Clarence Edward Taylor; son, Shannon Edward Weaver of Chatsworth, GA; step-children, Justin and Tracy Frady of Ringgold and Josh and Heidi Frady of East Ridge; brothers, Garland Payne of Florida, Tommy Holmes of Canton, GA, Kenneth Holmes, Howell Little of Dalton, GA, Raymond Holmes of Ringgold, GA, Charles Holmes and Thomas Holmes of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Shirley Taylor of Milledgeville, GA, Betty Taylor of Chickamauga, GA and Joe Rhinehardt of Lafayette, GA; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cathy Darlene Doran will be held Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jerry Stewart, Reverend Jesse Carver and Reverend Grant Manley officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, May 22 and after 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
