Regent Jo Hill of the Nancy Ward DAR chapter presented two certificates to businesses in the Hamilton county area.
Store managers received the certificates at Camping World and Groome Transportation in East Ridge.
Nancy Henderson, of the DAR, said, "The American flag is a symbol of our country and what it stands for. Displaying the American flag properly and with respect is recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution. A business or residence can receive a certificate for their display of the flag."
