The Men@Burks will hold its 2015 Summer BBQ Festival on Saturday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at Burks United Methodist Church at 6433 Hixson Pike, Hixson. There will be food and entertainment for the entire family. Pulled pork, ribs, and sides must be purchased in advanced. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold during the festival.
If you would like to purchase a ticket for the BBQ items or to just give a donation, you can contact Burks UMC office or purchase from a member of Boy Scout Troop 166. There will be live entertainment provided by the Dismembered Tennesseans. The kids will be able to enjoy inflatables, live Flipside Studio entertainment, and much more. Proceeds from the BBQ go to help Burks Scouting Program and the Men@Burks.
