James R. Rogers, Sr.,72, of Jasper, Tennessee, did on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Jim was a member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L, and Beatrice Jones Rogers; and brothers, Roy A., Franklin D., George “Sonny” and Lewis Kelly Rogers.
Jim is survived by his children, Timothy G. Rogers, James R. Rogers, Jr., David Rogers, Kimberly D. (Tracy) Smith and Nancy F. (Steve) Christian; brother, William Kenneth (Claudia) Rogers; sister, Brenda Rogers Gilbert; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT, Sunday, May 3, with Bro. Gene Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
