Registration Open For EDGE Gospel Expo June 13 In Dalton

  • Tuesday, May 19, 2015

EDGE Ministries will host the second annual Eldora Davis Gospel Expo on the Dalton Green on June 13 in Dalton.  The Expo is an opportunity for the community to enjoy a day of sharing and rejoicing through Gospel music from local talent in honor of Eldora Pender Davis.  Food and drink vendors (no outside food or beverages allowed) will add to the festive atmosphere.

EDGE Ministries is currently looking for food and drink vendors to register for the event.  They also seek performers who want to share the joy of music with their community.  To register as a vendor or talent or to make a donation, visit: http://edgeministries2015.wix.com/edgeministries

Admission to the Expo is free but monetary and canned good donations are welcome.  All donations will benefit the Northwest Georgia Branch of the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

CAFB serves nine Georgia counties through its Northwest Georgia Branch and there are 62,000 people (32,000 of those are children) in the Northwest Georgia area who struggle with hunger.  CAFB works with 114 partner agencies in Northwest Georgia to address local hunger and provide nourishing food to those in need.

“We are thankful to EDGE Ministries for allowing us to partner with them for the Gospel Expo to bring awareness to hunger issues in Northwest Georgia,” said Marisa Ogles, CAFB director of Development.  “We are proud to partner with many local organizations and we hope the Expo will shine a light on the good work that is being done.”
