Ongoing

Gatlinburg – The six-month season of the Gatlinburg Farmers Market will kick off May 16 and run through Oct.

17 at The Covered Bridge in the Glades Community of Gatlinburg.

May 14-16

Knoxville – The South’s iconic food, the biscuit, is celebrated at the International Biscuit Festival with a bake-off, tastings along Biscuit Boulevard, music and more in downtown Knoxville.

Adamsville – Celebrate a legend at the Buford Pusser Festival with a carnival, music and more in downtown Adamsville.

May 17

Chattanooga – Enjoy the much anticipated EPB Strawberry Festival featuring fresh strawberries, strawberry foods, and more 12:30 p.m. at The Chattanooga Market.

May 18

Cookeville – Hundreds of motorcycles will roar through as part of the 27th annual Run for the Wall, a 10-day journey from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. in honor of POWs and MIAs, 4:30 p.m. down Jefferson Avenue in downtown Cookeville. A welcome ceremony will take place at the Leslie Town Centre. 

May 22

Jackson – Rockin’ Reggie Vinson will officially be inducted 7 p.m. at the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame and Museum. Tickets are $5.

May 23

Baxter – Taste the Upper Cumberland along the Memorial Wine, Shine, & Stein Tour featuring DelMonaco Winery, Calfkiller Brewery, and Short Mountain Distillery 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Tickets are $35 and the tour starts at DelMonaco Winery.

Rugby – Enjoy a new version of Spring Festival at Rugby Roots: Appalachian Arts with a British Beat with music, storytelling, and dance noon to 6:30 p.m. in historic Rugby. Tickets are $5.

Millington – Enjoy the Grill N Thrill event with kids events, drag strip races, the signature King Cotton Quarter-Mile Dogs and a sweet tea or lemonade 6:30 p.m. at Memphis International Raceway.

May 23-25

Union City – Go back in time during the World War II Living History event which will include weapons, soldiers, and more at Discovery Park of America.

May 24

Jonesborough – Honor veterans in a Memorial Day celebration with a musical tribute 2:30 p.m. at the Jonesborough Visitors Center.

May 25

Jonesborough – Stories of veterans and their families will be told during the Memorial Day episode of the Jonesborough Yarn Exchange 7 p.m. at the International Storytelling Center.

May 26

Cookeville – Enjoy free concerts every other Monday night 7:30 p.m. at Dogwood Performance Pavilion.

May 29

Memphis – Jerry Seinfeld will bring his iconic stand-up routine to audiences 7 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets range from $67.50 to $125.

May 29-June 7

Byrdstown – See the classic Snow White performed on stage at Good Neighbors Theatre. For more information, call 931-864-7195.

May 31

Nashville – Enjoy a one-night only performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony with Giancarlo Guerrero and the Nashville Symphony 7 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

June 1

Maryville – Meet Mr. Lincoln as Dennis Boggs impersonates the U.S. president and tells his experiences first-hand 7 p.m. at the Blount County Public Library.

June 1-5

Memphis – Children can learn about seasonal weather patterns, tornado twists, and more during the Climate Controlled Discovery Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Memphis. Tickets are $150 with snacks and lunch included.

June 4

Memphis – Watch the classic action/adventure film Top Gun as part of the 2015 Summer Movie Series at the Orpheum Theatre.

Nashville – Enjoy a night of music by The Happy Racers 6:30 p.m. as part of Family Night Out at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

June 5

Nashville – Barry and Holly Tashian will perform as well as the E-5 Band 6-8 p.m. in the Frist Center Café at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

June 5-6

Millington – The Street Outlaws are back in town with a three-round shootout each day at Memphis International Raceway.

June 6

Wartrace – Live music, food, fireworks, and crafts will fill the day at the 2015 Wartrace MusicFest in downtown Wartrace.

Nashville – Join the Tennessee State Museum for a day trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway. The trip leaves 9 a.m. from the Belle Meade United Methodist Church and returns 4 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person before May 22 and $55 after May 22 with a box lunch and drink included.

June 9

Townsend – Missy Tipton Green and Paulette Ledbetter will present the “History of Townsend” followed by a book sale and signing 2 p.m. at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center.
