Gatlinburg – The six-month season of the Gatlinburg Farmers Market will kick off May 16 and run through Oct.

Knoxville – The South’s iconic food, the biscuit, is celebrated at the International Biscuit Festival with a bake-off, tastings along Biscuit Boulevard, music and more in downtown Knoxville.

Chattanooga – Enjoy the much anticipated EPB Strawberry Festival featuring fresh strawberries, strawberry foods, and more 12:30 p.m. at The Chattanooga Market.

Cookeville – Hundreds of motorcycles will roar through as part of the 27th annual Run for the Wall, a 10-day journey from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. in honor of POWs and MIAs, 4:30 p.m. down Jefferson Avenue in downtown Cookeville. A welcome ceremony will take place at the Leslie Town Centre.

Jackson – Rockin’ Reggie Vinson will officially be inducted 7 p.m. at the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame and Museum. Tickets are $5.

Baxter – Taste the Upper Cumberland along the Memorial Wine, Shine, & Stein Tour featuring DelMonaco Winery, Calfkiller Brewery, and Short Mountain Distillery 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Tickets are $35 and the tour starts at DelMonaco Winery.
Rugby – Enjoy a new version of Spring Festival at Rugby Roots: Appalachian Arts with a British Beat with music, storytelling, and dance noon to 6:30 p.m. in historic Rugby. Tickets are $5.

Wartrace – Live music, food, fireworks, and crafts will fill the day at the 2015 Wartrace MusicFest in downtown Wartrace.
Nashville – Join the Tennessee State Museum for a day trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway. The trip leaves 9 a.m. from the Belle Meade United Methodist Church and returns 4 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person before May 22 and $55 after May 22 with a box lunch and drink included.

Townsend – Missy Tipton Green and Paulette Ledbetter will present the “History of Townsend” followed by a book sale and signing 2 p.m. at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center.
