EarthDayz is back at Rock City for the seventh year, April 24-26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. See how art and nature enhance each other through local wildlife, make-and-take recycling projects and educational demonstrations like how to build rain barrels.

Meet John and Dale Stokes with Wings to Soar and learn about their efforts to save America’s birds of prey. Pet some of their flying friends at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the Rock Shop Patio on Friday and Sunday. Local animal ambassadors from Reflection Riding, Arboretum and Nature Center are also there daily.

The RockQuest Adventure is also available and includes a free climb on the 25-foot climbing wall, a bag of polished rocks and a guide to look for clues to many of the geological wonders throughout the park.

Café 7 has now reopened for the 2015 season. Enjoy a breathtaking view during lunch while savoring some delicious food like shrimp and cheese grits, pulled pork barbeque and fried green tomatoes with house-made pimento cheese. Visit www.seerockcity.com/cafe-7 for the full menu. It is open Thursdays through Sundays beginning at 11 a.m.

EarthDayz revolves around Rock City’s commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle, its stewardship of nature and its commitment to education and the environment. Rock City is partnering once again with Orange Grove as it provides park-wide recycling pickup for the attraction.
