A former candy plant in Lookout Valley has been sold for $2,225,000.

The sale was by Chicago-based Ferrara Pan Candy Company to Nooga Investments Llc.

Ferrara, after buying the Farley Sathers Candy Company, announced last September that it was closing operations here.

The firm was initially Brock Candy Company, which was bought out by Brach Candy.

The Lookout Valley facility is at 3401 Cummings Road.
