Tractor Show At Prater's Mill Is Saturday And Sunday

The Peach State Antique Tractor and Engine Club Show at historic Prater’s Mill will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. 

“It lets folks get a look at antique tractors and farm practices of yesterday,” said Mike Trotter, a tractor club member.  "There will be hay rides, the Parade of Power, special music and plenty of good food.” 

For a nominal fee, guided tours of historic Prater’s Mill, Shugart Cotton gin and the country store will be led by Sherry Sexton from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. 

Prater’s Mill is at 5845 Georgia Highway 2 in Dalton.  From I-75 Tunnel Hill-Varnell Exit #341, drive north on Highway 2014.5 miles, turn right on Highway 2, drive 2.6 miles to Prater’s Mill.
