Lookout Valley Presbyterian Thinks 'Outside The Pew', Offering Drive-In Worship Services

  • Thursday, April 30, 2015
On May 24, Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church will reach out to the community as Chattanooga's first Drive-in Worship Service returns for it’s third year.

This year, the service will be held at 6 p.m. each Sunday, Memorial Day through Labor Day, in the Pavilion of Praise on the church grounds, 435 Patten Chapel Road in Lookout Valley.

Officials said, "When you attend Drive-in Worship, you may remain in your car, tuning your radio dial to our local broadcast on FM 93.3; or, weather permitting, you may bring your camp chair or blanket out nearer to the Pavilion of Praise and enjoy worshiping the Lord under God's cathedral of the great blue sky."

Worship music at Drive-in Worship will be primarily contemporary praise, integrated with some of the older, more familiar hymns each week.
Preaching will focus on New Testament passages.
