Allie Jones Leads Ooltewah Softball Past Rhea County, 10-7

Allie Jones was 3-4 with a home run to lead Ooltewah past Rhea County, 10-7, on Monday. She had three RBIs and scored three times.

Tiera Lemon was 3-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Shelby Sutton was 2-4 with a run scored and two runs batted in.

Mabry Carpenter was 2-4 with an RBI, and Bailey Kennedy was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored. Jadyn Raschke was 2-3.

Junior Monica Thompson got the win by going seven innings and giving up eight hits. She struck out four. She is now 5-2 on the season

Ooltewah improves to 28-6 and will host Bradley Central on Tuesday night.
