Doris Ogle, 89, of Dalton, GA, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Ogle, Sr.; and parents, Rev. Clifford and Inez Smith.
She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Hobert Ogle, Jr. of Dalton; two granddaughters and their husbands, Michelle and James Nelms and April and Clyde Dempsey, all of Dalton; and three great-grandchildren, Cody and Ethan Dempsey and Rylee Nelms, all of Dalton.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 26, at 4 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Hensley and Dr. David Kitchens officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 3-4 p.m. Burial will be in Dawn Rest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25 from 6-9 p.m. at the Julian Peeples Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
