Bellyoga Dance Workshop Tonight, Apr. 22
The Chattanooga Track Club will host a free Bellyoga workshop tonight, Wed., Apr.
22, from 5:30 - 6:30 at Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park. The practice of Bellyoga combines stretching technique with core strengthening through belly dance-based movement. All interested members of the public, both male and female, are invited. No previous experience is necessary. BYO-yoga mat. A few are available to borrow from Outdoor Chattanooga.

*Introduction to Slacklining May 2
Outdoor Chattanooga invites the public to try slacklining on Sat., May 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at our facility, 200 River St. in Coolidge Park. The public will learn about the rules for attaching slacklines to trees and structures in public parks, then have a chance to try out low level slacklines in several spots throughout Coolidge and Renaissance Parks. No reservations or special equipment are necessary. Just check in at Outdoor Chattanooga, then go into the parks to play! For more information, email Outdoor Chattanooga or call (423) 643-6888.

*Rapid Learning Moves to Chester Frost Park on Wed., May 6!
The Rapid Learning Whitewater Kayaking Program will move outdoors to Chester Frost County Park on Wed., May 6, with two sessions: 6 and 7 p.m., just past the park swimming area. Interested members of the public can come to either session and try the program for free. If you decide to continue, you can join the program and access equipment and instruction all year round. *"Gulf to Gulf Odyssey" Premiere 
at the Crash Pad Apr. 24
The Lookout Wild Film Festival and the Crash Pad will host the premiere of the film "Gulf to Gulf Odyssey" at the Crash Pad, 29 Johnson St., this Fri., Apr. 24, at 8:30 p.m. The movie is a quirky look at an adventure that took two friends from the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the Gulf of Mexico by kayak. BYO-Camp Chair for this outdoor screening. A Q&A with the adventurers will follow the screening.

National Park Week Apr. 18
 - 26
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park (GA/TN), Russell Cave National Monument (AL) and Little River Canyon National Preserve (AL) will all host a bunch of free, public activities to launch National Park Week in our region, Apr. 18-26. Starting with a fee-free days on Sat. and Sun., Apr. 18 and 19, the week will include kids activities, interpretive programs and volunteer opportunities on Earth Day, Wed., Apr. 22. Castle Rock Celebration 
at the Crash Pad Apr. 30
The TN River Gorge Trust and a slew of conservation partners will celebrate the preservation of 30 acres of the Castle Rock climbing area with the Castle Rock Bash,happening at the Crash Pad on Thurs., Apr. 30, from 6-9 p.m. Music, beer, climbers and conservationists. What could be better?

*3State/3Mountain Challenge May 2

Chattanooga's iconic century ride will depart from Finley Stadium for the 28th year when the Chattanooga Bicycle Club hosts the3State/3Mountain Challenge on Sat., May 2, beginning at 8 a.m. Hundreds of cyclists will depart downtown Chattanooga to climb the mountains of TN, AL and GA for 100 or 64 miles. Recreational cyclists will choose a 25 mile option which begins at Nickajack Lake and meanders the countryside back into Chattanooga. Registration closes on Apr. 25, so if you want to ride, sign up

*Walking Tour of Snodgrass Hill and Horseshoe Ridge May 2

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a free, interpretive walking tour of the Snodgrass Hill/Horseshoe Ridge area of Chickamauga Battlefield on Sat., May 2 at 9:30 a.m. The two hour, two mile tour will begin at the Battlefield Visitors Center and then caravan to the walk location. Interpretive rangers will offer tales of decisive actions on the ridge during the Battle of Chickamauga. Wear sturdy walking shoes, wear clothes appropriate for the weather and bring water. *Bike to the Ballpark May 3 

Bike to the Ballpark on Sun., May 3 to watch the Chattanooga Lookouts take on the Jacksonville suns at 2:15. Join a group ride from Outdoor Chattanooga or Finley Stadium, enjoy free, secure bicycle parking, provided byBike/Walk Chattanooga, log your GreenTrips for a chance to throw out the first pitch at a Lookouts Game this weekend, and watch Louie and Louise Lookout try their legs on a Bike Chattanooga bicycle during the game.
