The three new GPS student body leaders for the 2015-2016 school year.

Nominations followed by speeches to the GPS student body and electioneering signs around campus have resulted in new presidents for three councils for the 2015-16 school year.

Story Deweese will lead the Honor Council; Alyson Parris will be the Student Council president; and Rachel Raisin will be the president of Partnership in Community during their senior year.

The three young women and their councils will continue traditions of honor, representative government, and a changing face of community service, said officials.

By virtue of the elections and tradition, they will also be the first three to deliver their chapel talks during the first two weeks of school.

Elections for class representatives on the three councils and class officers occur after May Day.
