Cleveland, June Marguerite Brown (Dunlap)

  • Tuesday, April 21, 2015

June Marguerite Brown Cleveland, 98, of Dunlap, Tennessee,  died on Monday, April 20, 2015.

She was a long time resident at the NHC nursing home, Dunlap. She loved the beauty of Tennessee which reminded her of parts of Oregon where she was born and raised. June loved to camp in the redwoods, paint landscapes, sew, knit and read. She became a licensed vocational nurse in her 40s. Her family and everyone who knew her were blessed to enjoy her positive attitude and her love of life and natural beauty. June was a member of the Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist Church and believed in the Second Coming of Christ and the Resurrection. Her family looks forward to that day of reunion with much anticipation.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Phoebe) Cleveland, of Dunlap (Cagle Mountain); two daughters, Joan Heiserman of Sierra Vista, Az., and Karen Cleveland of Eugene, Or.; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at the Dunlap Seventh-day Adventist Church on April 29,  at 6:30 p.m. CDT.
