Electric Bill Increase Needs Justification

  • Sunday, April 19, 2015

Check your electric bill.  Justification in a 28 percent increase or additional $200 for the same billing period a year ago is much needed.

Oh, I’m sure customer service will start with the standard response “you need to check your water heater” or some other standard answer from their response to customer manual.   Could it be it was a lot colder or a lot warmer this same period a year ago to justify this increase?  I don’t think so.   A 28 percent increase is ridiculous.

Check your electric bill and hopefully the EPB is not doing to the regular Joe what they were doing to the government in over billing.  Watch out people, if a hot summer comes we are sure to get hammered with electrical debt.

Can’t wait to call customer service so I can get a laugh from the first answer I’ll get.  A little humor may ease the pain.
