Covenant Keypers will host a Family Day Out on Saturday. The free event will be held at Eastgate Mall in the parking lot from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
The day will includ food from area vendors, games for little children though senior citizens, sports competitions for teens and young adults, a classic car show, a motorcycle show, gospel singing from area choirs, alternative health tips and samples, door prizes and give-aways.
The guest speaker will be former Chicago Bulls player from the three-peat years with Michael Jordan, Dickey Simpkins.
To enter any of the competitions for that day, click here. The cost is from $5 to $10 per category. All category winners will receive a $50 prize and a thank-you gift. Competitions includes Shoot Out Basketball Contest, the Most Outstanding Classic Car and the Sharpest Motorcycle.
