Mocs Football Hosts Clinic, Spring Game

  • Thursday, April 16, 2015

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team holds its annual Spring Game at Finley Stadium this weekend.  The Mocs kick off Saturday’s event with a FREE Kids Clinic at 12:15 p.m. (E.D.T).  The Spring Game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.

Preregistration for the Kids Clinic starts 11:45 a.m. at Finley Stadium.  All youth, eighth grade and under, are invited to attend the free session with the Mocs football players and coaches.  Concession stands will be open throughout the event, and Chattanooga’s local bluegrass band, the Possum Hunters, is scheduled to play under the scoreboard during the Kids Clinic.

The Spring Game consists of four quarters of live action.

The first two are 12-minute sessions with regular clock operation.  The last two periods are 12-minute running clocks.

At halftime, the 2014 seniors receive their Southern Conference Championship Rings.  Following the game, Coach Huesman will hand out the annual Bob Davis Winter Warrior Award, along with Offensive and Defensive MVP Honors from the game.

The Mocs are also hosting a sidewalk 'Stuff Your Bag Sale'.  Come pick out official UTC gear straight from the equipment room.  The UTC bookstore is providing bags and you can fill them up with Mocs apparel.
