Dr. Mark Kelley Joins CHI Memorial Surgical Cancer Care

CHI Memorial Medical Group announced the addition of Mark C. Kelley, M.D., MMHC, FACS.  Dr. Kelley specializes in surgical oncology including melanoma, breast, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies.

Dr. Kelley received his medical degree at Florida University, Gainesville, Fl. He completed his residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fl. and a fellowship in surgical oncology at John Wayne Cancer Institute, Santa Monica, Ca.  Dr. Kelley is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

“We are fortunate to have a surgical oncologist of Dr. Kelley’s caliber join our team of specialists and primary care providers,” says Glyn Hughes, president of CHI Memorial Medical Group. “Dr. Kelley’s vast experience and training complement our network of family and internal medicine, rheumatology, pediatrics, surgical oncology, urology, pulmonology and gynecology specialists.”

Dr. Kelley is the medical director of surgical oncology at the Rees Skillern Cancer Institute at CHI Memorial.

“I am very excited to be part of the cancer care team at CHI Memorial,” says Dr. Kelley. “CHI Memorial already has a history and tradition of multidisciplinary care conferences, and physicians that work together to coordinate the best treatment plans for patients, and that was a big part of my decision to continue my work here.”
