Emma Ruth McDonald, 84, of Menlo, GA died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McDonald was born August 26, 1930 in Stevenson, AL, the daughter of the late George Alvin Cooper and Ethel Vinalia Golf Cooper. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Revert McDonald; brothers, Lenard Cooper, Bill Cooper, and Red Cooper; and sisters, Ruby Pallocks and Gurthie Hampton.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Jordan; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Ray and Shari Cooper; brothers, Raymond Cooper and James Cooper; grandchildren, Christy Cooper, Shirley Cooper, Kenny Cooper, Melody Galloway, Marie Johnston, and Anona Szymanski; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 3, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be William Parker, Jamie Tucker, Mark Fowler, Michael Deaver, Jody Stephenson, and Ryan Copeland.
Mrs. McDonald will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2.
