Howard Lynn Trentham, 78, of Cleveland, TN, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015, at the family residence.

Mr. Trentham was the son of the late Maggie Cronan Trentham and Hoyt Trentham; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Willa Mae Trentham; his son, James Lynn Trentham; and his sisters, Hazel Martin, Geneva Martin and Mary Ruth Wilson.

Mr. Trentham was retired from the Sanitation Department with the City of Cleveland with over 25 years of service. He also worked in maintenance with Rolling Hills Golf Course with over 10 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors including camping, fishing and the mountains. Most of all he enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Swallows andTeresa Jenkins and her husband Arthur; his sons, Scottie Trentham and Steve Trentham and his wife Glenda all of Cleveland; his five grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Helen Goins; his brothers, Leonard Trentham and his wife Annie, Ralph Trentham and his wife Darlene, A. J. Trentham, Daniel Trentham and his wife Frances all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, April 2, at 1 p.m. from the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Don Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
