Jacksonville, Florida native JJ Grey recently released his latest LP, Ol’ Glory, in February.  The 12-track album features the unique blend of blues, soul, funk, rock and gospel that has become synonymous with JJ Grey and Mofro.  Grey’s central themes of happiness and having a sense of place are just as evident in this new album as they were in his previous works. “I wanted that crucial lived-in feel,” Grey says of this latest record.  The obvious comfort surrounding the tracks makes live performances feel more honest and allows Grey and his band the freedom to relax.

This Southern jam band has been on the road in support of their new release and will be performing at Track 29 on Friday.

Tickets are still available through the venue at: http://track29.co/event.cfm?id=183343&cart .
