Ronald Eugene Schroyer, 68, of Soddy Daisy, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga.

He worked in law enforcement for many years and was a former chief of police for the Red Bank Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Schroyer Sr. and Lois Holder Schroyer; brothers, Harry Schroyer Jr. and Ed Schroyer.

He is survived by his cousin, Peggy Burns; nephews, Gary, Larry and Randy Schroyer; niece, Teresa Yates.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
