Michael James Mooney, 60 of Chickamauga, died on Monday, March 30, 2015.
He was born in Chattanooga to the late Bill and Pearl Mooney. Michaelwas of the Pentecostal Faith and loved fishing, NASCAR, and playing his guitar.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, April Kitchens and his sister, Sharon "Spook" Jewell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Rhonda Mooney of Chickamauga, children, Sharon (John) Ferguson of Chattanooga, Deborah (Wayne) White of Rogersville, TN, Chris (Michelle) Brogdon of Phoenix, AZ, sister, Ann Grover of Chattanooga, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, at the funeral home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Reverend Max Kessler officiating.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
