  • Monday, March 30, 2015
The Center for Mindful Living and Grace Episcopal Church have partnered to present a weekend conference with a diverse slate of spiritual leaders.

On Saturday, April 11, “Love in Action: Christ and the Buddha” will be a day-long event featuring meditations with Thanissara, addresses by Andrew Harvey and Kittisaro, lunch, and a panel discussion. On Sunday, April 12, Andrew Harvey will offer the homily at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. Both events will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 20 Belvoir Ave.

Nora Bernhardt, board member at the Center for Mindful Living, said, “The Center is grateful for this partnership with Grace, which offers a unique chance for Chattanoogans to see and hear some of today’s most highly-regarded spiritual thinkers and scholars from different faith traditions.
It will be an opportunity to reflect on our own perspectives and visions for navigating and acting responsibly in today’s changing world.”
