Mary Jane Levi died on March 2, 2015 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Mary Jane was a graduate of City High School. She and her husband Donald were active in the Hixson Ball Progam and coached softball for many years.  She was an active member of Abba's House and enjoyed serving in the kitchen and book store.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Levi, and parents, Virgil and Nellie Clark.

Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Donna Jane Mitchell and son, Clark Levi, three grandchildren, Trystan (John) White, Erin (Josh) Rousey and Morgan Mitchell, and Elizabeth Taheriand three great-grandchildren, her sister, Barbara Kessler, brother, Harold (Mary Jo) Clark, many nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends. 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The celebration of her life follow at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the funeral home chapel with her Pastor Eddie Kessler officiating. Burial will be in the Hixson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Bible Village, 3001 Hamill Road, Hixson, TN 37343, or the charity of your choice. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
