  • Tuesday, March 3, 2015

J.WMayne, 77 of Rossville, died on Monday, March 2, 2015.

He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Christian faith. He retired from Yates Bleachery in 2010 after more than 51 years of service and enjoyed traveling, going to the Smokey Mountains and had a passion for caring and taking in animals.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 57 years, Sue Mayne of Rossville, and his little dog Princess whom he loved very much.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 6, in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, since he was an animal lover, please make contributions in his memory to the Animal Clinic, Inc., 2223 East 23rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37407, 423 698-2401 to help have dogs and cats be spayed and neutered to prevent over population.

Arrangements are by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Ogelthorpe.
