Clara Mae Potter, 87, of Red Bank, Tennessee, died on Monday, March 2, 2015.

Clara was a member of White Oak Church of Christ. She was an avid gardener and she loved to hunt and fish with her husband. Clara was employed by and retired from 3M Company.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Laney, five sisters, and one brother.

Clara is survived by her husband, John Potter; son, Gary Potter; grandson, David (Gina) Potter; great-granddaughters, Anna Kate, Maggie and Kaylee potter; two brothers, James and Bill Laney, and numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, from 4-8 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, and on Friday, from 8:30–9:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Headrick officiating.

Interment will follow to Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
