Sharon Roden Eidson, 57, of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, March 28, 2015.  She was born April 14, 1957 in Rossville. 

She was a 1975 graduate of Rossville High School. 

Sharon was a 39-year employee of Cigna Healthcare and was an active member of Bayside Baptist Church. 

Her father, Don Roden and step-father, Curt Todd preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Mike Eidson; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Yadon of Gulfport, MS; son, Mark (Kara) Eidson of Ooltewah; Mother, Betty Todd of Rossville; brother, Stanley (Cindy) Roden of Rossville; grandsons, Kade and Kaleb Yadon of Gulfport, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 31, from 12-1 p.m. at Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, TN 37341. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 31, at 1 p.m. at Bayside Baptist Church with Reverend Eric C. Stitts and Reverend Grady Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Ryan Capetz, Michael Carver, Jason Dill, Seth Gentry, Brandon Hall, Andy Moon, Chris Harper and Corey Wright serving as active pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bayside Baptist Church Building Fund, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, TN 37341.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
