Jerry Randall “Randy” Allen, 51 of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

Randy was born Nov. 25, 1963 in Murfreesboro, and graduated from Tyner High School where he played football and was a great athlete. He was employed with Chattanooga Supply, Inc. and O’Neal Steel. He was a huge Vols fan, Randy was also a gifted musician and was known for his quick wit, his kind, caring and loving heart toward others. He also had a servant’s heart, and was a believer in Jesus Christ and now with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Sylvester; grandparents, Reuben and Edna Cline.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Cline Sylvester, Chattanooga; father, Jerry (Joyce) Allen of Knoxville; sister, Kristie (Troy) Brown; nephews, Christopher Burkhart and Matthew Griffith; cousin, Lindsay (John) Maugans; cousin, Colton Cline; uncle, Nathan (Susan) Cline, Brentwood, TN.

A celebration of life service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Bill Owens and David Hickman officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be friends who touched Randy’s life, David Hickman, Jody Park, Kevin Wright, Rob Covington, Chucky Jackson and Greg Craven.
