Rowena Lowery Scott, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015.  
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Janie Lowery and was a member of the Ridgedale Baptist Church and the Friendship SundaySchool Class. She was also retired from the National Group.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Scott; two sons, Mark (Donna) Scott and Roger Scott all of Chattanooga; two grandsons, Matthew (Suzanne) Scott and Jacob Scott; sister-in-law, Joyce Henslee, Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in the Valley View Chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.  Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.  
The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
