Benjamin Franklin Moore, Jr., 62, of Ooltewah, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in a local hospital.

Bennie was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was retired from King Foods with 15 years of service. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

He was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Ruth Phillips Moore and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Moore Haney, granddaughter, Anna Marie Alsept and two sisters, Sharon Randolph and Janie Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Cynthia Haven Moore; two sons, Benjamin Franklin Moore III and Robert Andrew Moore; two daughters, April Haven Alsept and Jennifer Denise Moore, all of Ooltewah; sister, Donna (Donnie) McCorkle, Rossville; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Tommy Leslie officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
