World Impact Launches Program To Address Gang Violence

  • Thursday, March 26, 2015

Pastor Ezra Maize, senior pastor of Rehoboth Ministries and the members of Rehoboth Ministries, launched their first humanitarian community program which will address the gang violence in the City of Chattanooga, through World Impact.

World Impact is an organization designed to offer gang affiliated men and women, between the ages of 21-35, an opportunity to be participants in a “Lifestyle Changing” program.

Pastor Maize, founder and CEO of World Impact, believes that World Impact, will be a catalyst in the restoration and reclaiming of Chattanooga's youth and saving the communities and ultimately, the world as it relates to gang unrest.  He believes that, ”changing a person’s environment is essential to changing a person’s lifestyle and their way of thinking.”

Pastor Maize has a team of organizations who have endorsed his vision.  His plan is to offer those gang affiliated individuals, who are interested and want to change their lifestyle, an opportunity to travel to 11 different countries in 11 months to become involved in humanitarian work for those less fortunate.

Upon the Program's participants return to the United States after their 11 country 11 month humanitarian expedition, Pastor Maize is convinced that each participant’s perspective about life, their lives, and their concern for welfare of family and community will be more valuable and significant. He states, ”I feel this program is more than a bandage for the gang problems, I know it is a cure.”

"Those persons who are interested in this once in a life time opportunity may contact Pastor Maize at 423-999-2109," officials said.
