ClearRiver Health Employs New Plan President And Medical Director

ClearRiver Health announced Tuesday that Michael Taylor and Christopher Greene, MD, have been selected to lead the development and growth at ClearRiver Health, a Medicare Advantage plan. Mr. Taylor has been appointed as the plan president and Dr. Greene as medical director.

Mr. Taylor joins ClearRiver Health from WellCare of Georgia, where he served as senior director of Network Management. He has more than twenty years of health care experience and brings to the organization strengths in provider relations, medical management, operations, and program development. Prior to his position at WellCare, Mr. Taylor held various leadership positions including executive director at Humana Military Healthcare Services and director of Claim Management at Sierra Military Health Services. Mr. Taylor has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business from Reinhardt University.

“I’m excited to be joining ClearRiver Health at such a pivotal time for the company,” Mr. Taylor said. “The opportunity to build this Plan is truly an honor, and I look forward to leading these efforts with Dr. Greene.”

Dr. Greene joins ClearRiver Health from Tri- County Family Practice Associates where he served as the vice president and a practicing physician for the past 19 years. Dr. Greene has previously served on multiple boards which include: Medical Executive Committee Board, Peer Review Board and the Infection Control Board. Greene also comes with vast knowledge in government insurance and champions ICD 10 implementation for CHI Memorial. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Floyd Medical Center.
