Kimberly “Kim” Day, 44, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday morning, March 20, 2015 at her home.

Kim was born in Pontiac, MI on December 31, 1970 to the late Carl James Tyson. She enjoyed going on road trips with her husband, but her great joy was her grandchildren. Kim also sought to do whatever possible to make all those around her happy. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Ritchie. 

Kim is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Gary Day; one daughter, Courtney Day-Durbin and her husband Anthony II; one son, Conley Day and his wife Pamela; her mother, Susan Tyson; four grandchildren, Brookeleigh Day-Durbin, Sophia Day, Landyn Durbin and Houston Day; three brothers, John Ritchie(Susie), Charlie Tyson (Jenny) and Tim Tyson(Bridget), and numerous other family members and special friends. 

A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, March 24 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Guinn Green officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, march 24 from 2-4 p.m.

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
