The Tennessee Housing Development Agency's Executive Director Ralph M. Perrey will open a statewide tour promoting THDA's Great Choice loan program in Hamilton County on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors, 2963 Amnicola Hwy.
THDA funded 120 mortgage loans in Hamilton County during 2014. The most recent available data shows 2,711 homes were sold in 2013 at or under THDA’s maximum sales price limit of $240,000. THDA can serve eligible households whose incomes do not exceed $65,665 for a family of one or two or $75,514 for larger households. Members of the housing industry from the surrounding area will be on hand.
Mr. Perrey will open the second day of the statewide tour with two public appearances in Bradley County on Wednesday. The first at 8:30 a.m. at Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland; 300 Grove Ave SW, in Cleveland, and the second at 1 p.m. at Cleveland Country Club, 345 Kyle Ln. NW in Cleveland.
THDA funded 46 mortgage loans in Bradley County during 2014. The most recent available data shows 778 homes were sold in 2013 at or under THDA’s maximum sales price limit of $240,000. THDA can serve eligible households whose incomes do not exceed $62,160 for a family of one or two or $72,520 for larger households. Members of the housing industry from the surrounding area will be on hand at both Bradley County events.
Mr. Perrey will also travel to McMinn County Wednesday afternoon to meet with elected officials there.
THDA funded five mortgage loans in McMinn County in 2014. According to 2013 data, of the 295 homes sold there, 280 were sold at or under THDA’s price limit. THDA can serve eligible households in McMinn County whose incomes do not exceed $60,600 for a family of one or two or $70,700 for a family of three or more.
