Trout Stocking In East Tennessee Cancelled Due To Weather

Trout stocking in east Tennessee is being cancelled this week due to hazardous conditions and expected subzero temperatures.  

The streams that are on the schedule for this week that will not be stocked are:

Flat Fork (Morgan County)

Byrd "Richardson" Creek (Hancock County)

Puncheon Camp Creek (Grainger County)

Buffalo Creek (Grainger County)

Panther Creek (Hamblen County)

Region 4 Fisheries Coordinator Bart Carter said that the plan is to double up on fish the next time these streams are scheduled for stocking.
