Sheriff And Captain Receive Free Faith-Based Materials To Use For Inmates

  • Monday, November 9, 2015

Gabe Thomas, captain over the Corrections and Judicial sections of the Bradley County Jail, and Sheriff Eric Watson said they were honored to receive Bibles and other faith-based guidance books Monday from the ministries of Joyce Meyer and the Reverend Perry Stone.

The Bibles, from Reverend Stone's Omega Ministries International, will be used by inmates who request them. They are written to be an easy read for inmates. The Joyce Meyer books will be donated to women's ministries in the Pods.

Sheriff Watson said, “Our inmates often ask for reading materials to bolster their new-found faith and these are exactly the types of things they asked for.”
