CAHA Program on Dixie Highway November 9

The Chattanooga Area Historical Association and the Local History and Genealogy Department of the Public Library invite all to a talk on the Dixie Highway and the Progressive Era by Dr. Andrea Becksvoort, Monday, November 9th, 6 pm, at the Chattanooga Public Library.

Dr. Becksvoort is a member of the History and Social Sciences Department at GPS. She is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vanderbilt and received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University, where she was awarded a Prize Teaching Fellow.

Dr. Becksvoort’s research is of adventure in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
