Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area announced the launch of its Home for Christmas Campaign. Habitat board member and Chattanooga Chief of Police Fred Fletcher will serve as the chairman of the Campaign.
Officials said, "This annual fundraising effort helps Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area continue its work of building decent and affordable housing for families in need and offering home repairs to homeowners on a fixed income in selected communities."
“Habitat for Humanity has made meaningful difference in Chattanooga over the past 29 years; however, there is so much more work to be done in our amazing community,” said Chief Fletcher. “Thousands of families in Chattanooga are living in unsafe and unaffordable housing that’s why I’m encouraging Chattanooga residents to find it their hearts to make a contribution to the Home for Christmas Campaign. Whether it’s $5 or $500, every gift, no matter the size, will make a lifetime impact.”
There are three ways in which residents may donate to the Home for Christmas Campaign:
1. By Mail – 1201 E. Main Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408
2. By Phone – 423-756-0507
