Billy Herman Henderson, 67, of Sale Creek, died on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

He was a long time deputy with the Rhea County Sheriff's Department. Billy also worked with TVA and Food City throughout the years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended Gallilian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Henderson of Sale Creek; son, Jason (Wendy) Henderson of Dayton; daughters, Alicia (Jason) Tankersley of Dayton; Andrea (Mike) Cox of Clarksville, TN and Rachel (Mike) Hodges of Fort Lee, VA; brothers, Barney (Debbie) Henderson of Sale Creek and Buell (Sabra) Henderson of Soddy Daisy; sisters, Bobbie (Tim) Myers of Dayton and Blanch (Bryon) LeMay of Soddy Daisy; 13 grandchildren, and a special friend, Karen Henderson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Jason Henderson and Reverend Jimmy Talley officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at the funeral home.
