Julissa Benton was born on July 21, 1972 in Lima, Peru; she died on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

Julissa was a native of Lima, Peru but had lived in the USA the last eight years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Amadeo Marchena Sanchez of Lima in July of this year.

Survivors include her husband, Jason Benton, of Hixson, her mother Elena Arana Silva, her sister, Isabel Otilia Marchena Arana, her two brothers, Luis Fernando Marchena Arana and Jamie David Marchena Arana and their wives, Carmen and Helga respectively, two nieces and three nephews in Peru.

Julissa was a comadre to many children both in Peru and in this Country. She loved children and animals, especially cats.

Julissa’s friendly personality and sweet nature gained her numerous friends wherever she went. She will be remembered with pleasure by people in many places throughout the world. 

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will gather will friends on Saturday, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the funeral home.
