Free Meter Parking Announced For Holidays

The Chattanooga Parking Authority has announced downtown parking meters will not be enforced, and therefore need not be paid, on Thanksgiving Day and the Friday and Saturday following.

Bus Passes will not be available from the Parking Authority on the affected days.

Paid parking for all street meters will also be suspended for these remaining holidays in 2015:
Christmas Day.

Parking in an unlawful area or manner (bus or loading zones, yellow curb, no parking, handicap space, Fort Wood Residential District, etc.) is enforceable 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
