Parkridge Health System Purchases Mountainview Building On Parkridge West Campus

  • Friday, October 9, 2015

Parkridge Health System invested almost half-million dollars in Parkridge West Hospital when it purchased the building that houses Mountainview Treatment Center, a regional 20-bed adult inpatient behavioral health service. This adds to the multi-million dollar investment in facility improvements Parkridge Health System has provided to the campus in less than two years.

While Mountainview Treatment Center has been located in the same building since its inception in 1998, it was through a lease agreement.  With this purchase Parkridge Health System completes the full acquisition of the Parkridge West Hospital campus. Mountainview Treatment Center is a service line of Parkridge West Hospital, which also includes a 24/7 Emergency Department, outpatient imaging and lab, and physical therapy.  Additionally, Mountainview is part of the Parkridge network of comprehensive behavioral health care services that include the Parkridge Valley Child and Adolescent, Parkridge Valley Adult and Senior campuses and Outpatient Services of Parkridge Valley at Cleveland.

“The purchase of the Mountainview Treatment Center building further enhances Parkridge Health System’s commitment to Parkridge West Hospital, our employees and the communities we serve,” Parkridge Valley CEO Brennan Francois said. “We are excited to provide health care services for both body and mind to patients in the Sequatchie Valley and beyond at Parkridge West Hospital and Mountainview. We look forward to continuing to build relationships with our patients, physicians and other health care providers, and community partners.”
