Chattanooga State Hosts Flu Clinic Oct. 14-15

To celebrate national Pharmacy Week, the annual campus flu clinic will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the Health Science Center lobby and Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the River Room located in the Omniplex main hallway.

Chattanooga State employees will need to bring their CVS CAREMARK prescription benefit card to the event. CVS also will file other insurance plans.

Protocol requires that the person receiving the vaccine must be 9 years of age or older. Cash price of the vaccine is $31.99 for those without prescription insurance coverage. Payment can be made with cash or check payable to CVS. This event is open to all Chattanooga State students, employees, and dependents, as well as the public.

In addition, during the Wednesday, Oct. 14 clinic only, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office will be conducting a Drug-Take Back program from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and the College will be collecting eyeglasses for donation to the Lions Club as well as medical supplies to donate to the Samaritan Center.
