Cleveland State To Host Alumni And Friends Celebration

  • Friday, October 2, 2015

Cleveland State Community College is hosting its second Annual Alumni and Friends “Friendraiser” Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at The Old Woolen Mill.

“Cleveland State greatly appreciates First Tennessee Bank who is serving as the lead sponsor for this year's event,” said Tracey Wright, assistant to the president for Community Relations and Special Programs. “Their continued support to the college and community is greatly appreciated. Jonathan Cantrell of Caldwell Paving is also appreciated for providing financial support for this event, and Tasteful Gatherings will be providing the culinary treats. Whether you are an alumni of the college, a community or business member who supports the college and believes in its mission or one of the college's past or current employees, we hope that you will make plans to attend this event, it won't be the same without you.”

This year’s entertainment for the event is Rachel Holder of Birchwood, Tn., a CMT recording artist, former Miss Dogwood Festival winner, a Miss Tennessee contestant and a current Cleveland State student. Ms. Holder is a well-known country vocalist in the Chattanooga area performing at the Riverbend Festival and other local venues. The 22-year-old Curb Records recording artist participated in the CMA Fest in Nashville and recently concluded her Wal-Mart tour where she promoted her EP “Shining Now.”

For more information about the “Friendraiser,” or to RSVP for the event, visit mycs.cc/alumniandfriends or contact Wright at 423-473-2341.
