Bullets rang out near an Alton Park school bus stop on Tuesday morning, sending students scrambling for cover.

Police took two suspects into custody.

The incident happened on W. 38th Street across from the Bethlehem Center and was believed to be gang related.

Crime tape quickly went up at the shooting scene, and W. 38th Street was temporarily blocked.

There were five people shot in Chattanooga between Friday night and Monday morning.

Police said the vehicle used by the gunmen was stolen Saturday night in West Knoxville.

Three black males approached three men outside a gym and took their wallets and cell phones.

One of the victims was punched in the face and another hit in the head with a gun.

The trio took a gray 2003 Infinity G35.

That vehicle was located following the Alton Park shooting.
